Writing (of any kind) is a journey: somethings hard, often joyous but always amazing. Add the fantastical into that mix and you have a recipe for escaping into imagined worlds.
This website is a part of that journey.

I am working with an editor to complete the third draft of a high fantasy / young adult crossover novel, with the working title of 'Trinity'. I aim to complete this draft early in the New Year.
It is the first time that I have worked with an editor and it is proving to be a rewarding experience. My editor has pointed out the strengths and weaknesses in my writing in a highly constructive manner. It has been extremely beneficial to have a fresh pair of eyes looking at 'Trinity', especially when those eyes belong to someone who doesn't have a vested interest in not hurting my feelings!
I am also reading voraciously. I count reading as being part of writing. It is important for me to see how individual authors craft their stories, therefore it is as much about seeing great techniques, as it is about spotting the things I know I want to avoid in my own writing - like head hopping!
